The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all the Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized way. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. One of the biggest flaws of this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to remove the last traces of debris and dust left behind by the vacuuming.
